As part of a Design Thinking class by Professor Hilda Tellioglu, we came up with a playful way of collecting design ideas for communities. Our class was focused on the Seestadt Aspern, which is a modern neighbourhood in Vienna, but the game we created can be adjusted for all kinds of communities.
We based our approach on a range of different methods that came together in the creation of our design game "Winsi". The narrative poster below shows our research and design journey. It also presents the general findings and results from each method.
The document below documents our design game which explores wishes and ideas of citizens in a playful and cooperative atmosphere. With experience in game design and  game production, my focus in this project was the main game design and designing a constructive experience for the players. Our biggest challenge was to design the game in a a way where the goal for the players does not conflict with our goal of collecting their ideas. More reflection and conclusions can be found in the final section of the paper below.
